Dr Emovon is board certified in Nephrology and a certified Hypertension Specialist. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital in 1991, and subspecialty training in Nephrology and Clinical Hypertension at Duke University in 1994. This was followed by a fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1995.

Dr Dillon is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She completed Internal Medicine residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Queens, New York. This was followed by Nephrology fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina Charleston, South Carolina.

Ashley Simmons is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming a Carolina Kidney team member, she served as a critical care nurse for several years, and briefly serving as ICU nursing director.
